I volunteer one morning a week at an orphanage for babies who are HIV positive. One morning Junior and I were kicking the soccer ball and he asked me to stop and to pick him up. We were outside so I had on my sunglasses. He got nose to nose with me and said, “I want to see your eyes.” I took off my glasses and we looked into each other’s eyes for several moments, not talking or smiling. I knew that I was looking into the eyes of God and that God was looking into my soul. Junior then said, “OK, now we can play futbol again.”
